This new trilogy is full of action with a touch of humor and
a lot of creativity. It is the first
adult paranormal book I have read that brings in the old Greek gods along with
the shifters and vampires. I found
myself singing/humming “Super Trooper” by ABBA while reading the book due to
the non humans being called ‘Super Dupers’ by the main character.
The story flowed effortlessly with me only stopping to
research a few Greek gods as I have forgotten most of those stories. I didn’t find many if any spelling, grammar,
or formatting (Kindle version) errors. I
couldn’t put this book down and the end came too quickly for me. I cannot wait to see what Ms. Mayer’s has in
store for Alena and the Super Dupers next.
